John Tees
Guitarist and singer/songwriter John Tees was born in Yellowknife, NT.
His early years were influenced by listening to his father playing guitar at family house parties.
Later on, John took guitar lessons with Wilf Schidlowsky, one of his teachers at St. Pats school.
He and his brother Gary were founding members of the band, “Stained Glass Illusion”.
In 1995, he was one of one hundred North American songwriters chosen for a Nashville songwriters competition and placed 31.
In 2009, he released his CD, “What Metis Means To Me”.
John still carries his passion for writing songs and playing his guitar today
